Key Responsibilities - Customer Service Representative - FirstEnergy / Mon Power ($12.50-$17.36/hr)

After completing 6-8 weeks of paid training you will be comfortable with:

  • Handle incoming calls from existing customers
  • Answer customer service-related questions
  • Resolve customer problems
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Weather related outages may require extended hours beyond normal business hour
  • Assist customers with billing issues
  • Take payments and assist customers with payment options

Required Skills and Knowledge - Customer Service Representative - FirstEnergy / Mon Power ($12.50-$17.36/hr)

  • Full Benefits
  • 1st shift hours/over time available
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Reliable transportation
  • 1+ years of customer service or related experience
  • Computer skills and screen navigation
  • Call Center experience is a plus
  • 1st shift hours-Monday -Friday and possible over time

Education and Experience - Customer Service Representative - FirstEnergy / Mon Power ($12.50-$17.36/hr)

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Currently hold a High School diploma or equivalent

Benefits and Pay - Customer Service Representative - FirstEnergy / Mon Power ($12.50-$17.36/hr)

  • Base salary of $12.50 per hour, with an increase to $17.36 per hour after conversion ($12.50-$17.36 per hour)
  • Overtime opportunities available if interested
  • Comprehensive benefits plan offering Medical and Dental coverage, as well as Life Insurance policies
