Job Description - Warehouse Office Clerk

We are currently seeking individuals looking to jump-start their careers with leading Plastics Distributor. The position will begin as an office clerk opportunity, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility with inventory control later on. This position will be onsite, while maintaining social distancing guidelines in office! An ideal candidate will be driven, possess strong communication skills, and have a desire to advance in the future. This is a fantastic entry point into a great corporation that enables multiple opportunities to advance with this prominent international company. You will be taught everything that you need to know, so no experience in the Plastics Industry is required!

Key Responsibilities - Warehouse Office Clerk

  • Responsible for accurate filing of ALL documents
  • Inventory Control experience necessary, including cycle count process
  • Extensive experience using Inventory Transactions within SAP (examples: MIGO, Goods Received, Shipments Complete)
  • Work to ensure facility attains Key Cycle Counting Metrics by their targets
  • Develop strong working relationships with all levels of facility personnel
  • Work with management to ensure MRP process is accurate, consistent and business relevant
  • Work with purchasing to ensure adequate inventory levels (using MD-07 and VL10G
  • Comfortable in both an office and warehouse environment a plus

Required Skills and Knowledge - Warehouse Office Clerk

  • SAP experience required, skilled in all Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Excellent team player and customer service driven
  • Office Management, Administrative, and Accounts Payable experience is a plus
  • Problem Solving/Trouble shooting experience
  • Experience in a leadership role is a plus
  • Experience in a transportation/warehouse environment a plus
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to multi-task is a must

Education and Experience - Warehouse Office Clerk

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Previous experience in an office setting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with internal colleagues
  • Desire to build a career!

Benefits and Pay - Warehouse Office Clerk

  • $13.50/hour starting pay
  • Healthcare, dental reimbursement, free life insurance
  • Opportunity to earn a pay increase within your first year
  • Availability Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 7:00pm (full time, set schedule)
    • Overtime opportunities available!
